Gastronomy

In Patmos you will be lucky (because the production is limited) to find a sort of cheese called "kalathotos", which is made of goat and ship milk. Also, do not miss the chance to taste the local cheese pies that look like tarts, with three kinds of cheese and sprinkled with cinnamon. When it is time for a dessert, you should definitely taste the honeyed pouch with crust, almond, walnut and honey. You can buy thyme honey of excellent quality.
