There are many beaches on the island, almost all accessible from the shore, though you will need to walk under the hot sun if you want to reach the most isolated ones. Isolation has its own price.
Pni(g)menos: a quiet sandy beach, located northwest of the early Christian necropolis, under the small gorge of Rafi.
Chochlakas: a beach with pebbles, fine gravel and crystal clear water, just under Agia Triada.
Potha: only a 10-minute walk to the north of the harbor, an organized beach with sunbeds available.
Paradise: a nudist beach with sand and fine pebbles actually forming the extension of the beach Potha.
