The small port below the “kathisma” is accessible only through a path (10 minutes). There are a few buildings, sand, pebbles and clean waters.

Here many people collect the bright pebbles of all kinds of colors as souvenirs. The beach has fanatic lovers – mostly foreigners. There is also a tavern.

Meloi and Aspri
The first one is a narrow sandy beach with tamarisks and docks, a tavern, rooms to let and the municipal camping site. The second one is a closed bay that attracts less people. There are taverns just before the beach.
Petra – Grikos
With a view to the rock of Kallikatsou, you can choose either the beach in the bay or the bigger one that lies on the outer side. The second one is an organized beach. You can also go swimming in the beach next to Grikos. On the opposite side you will see Tragonisi islet.
Golden sand, shallow waters, big tamarisks, rocks with beautiful coloring and the sea that suddenly swells… and drives the boats quickly away. There is a traditional café-tavern on the beach. A path starting from Diakofti goes all the way to the beach in 30 minutes.
