Center of prevention against the drug obsession and the promotion of psychosocial health Rhodes section “Diodos”
In collaboration with the Organization Against the Drugs (OKANA)
The center of prevention “DIODOS” addresses to the healthy population aiming to the prevention against the use of drugs and the promotion of the good health generally, applying new programs based on the experimental search, in order to develop new personal and social abilities. These abilities will help the modern people to correspond to the current complex reality.
A series of seminars will be carried out for the awareness of the parents with the subject:
“The modern parents: Balancing between different roles.”

Official Opening Celebration
We are very happy to invite you to the official opening and join us in celebrating our anniversary. The opening and reception will take place on: Wednesday, May 28 at 19:30
The exhibition is held in the Kastellania, in the old town. A suitable location for us because this unique building was the main attraction of our first Anoiktes Portes/European Heritage Days, back in 2010. We have good memories of that and hope now to add some new ones!

A series of events about “Rights and obligations of the children” from the Christian Union of Damsel in Rhodes, 27 & 28 May and 3 June
The Christian Union of Damsel in Rhodes with the collaboration of the Prefecture of South Aegean- Department of Social Care, organizes a series of events about “The rights and the obligations of the children” at the “Rodini” Hall on Tuesday 27 & Wednesday 28 May, 18:00 – 21:00 and at the “Rodon” theater-cinema on Tuesday 3 June, 19:00 – 21:30
14 primary schools will take place in these events. The teachers and the students of these schools work hard in order to present paintings, theatrical performances, puppet show, films and songs, all of which are related with the subject.

John Gryparis presents portraits of jazz musicians at Elia bar-restaurant. These portraits were firstly exhibited at Ermoupoli on April 2014 for the International Jazz Day. The viewer is transferred through the pictures to the journey of the musician. The photographer amazed by the notes take pictures of several artists such as musicians, dancers and actors since 2007. Almost every Greek jazz musician are exhibited in the photographer’s collection. The exhibition will take place from 9 to 25 May 2014.
